Vasiliki Zoi joined Diaverum Hellas in April 2024 as Country Nursing Director.

She is responsible for integration processes, leading and promoting the continuous improvement of clinical results & patient experience. This involves the development and implementation of clinical protocols, training & managing the competencies of clinical teams, and conducting clinical practice audits. 

Vasiliki holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and a Master’s Degree in Pubic Health from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She also completed the annual programme of pedagogical training at the School of Pedagogical & Technological Education (ASPETE), earning a Certificate of Pedagogical and Teaching Competence. 

Additionally, Vasiliki serves as an executive committee member of the European Dialysis and Transplant Nurses Association/European Renal Care Association (EDTNA/ERCA). This multidisciplinary organisation is dedicated to achieving the highest level of education, standards, and research for renal care professionals, supporting patients and their families worldwide. Her involvement in EDTNA/ERCA allows her to collaborate with professionals from around the globe, sharing tasks and goals to strengthen all collective efforts. 

Her specialisation is in Hematology & Immunohematology and she has 21 years of experience at Attikon University Hospital in Athens, including 17 years in the Nephrology Department, Dialysis Unit and Peritoneal Dialysis Unit. Furthermore, she has spent over 15 years training nurses, as an instructor in the Vocational Education and Training Organisation, as a laboratory specialist at the Technological Education Institute (AEI) in Athens and as renal care trainer. Her career also includes involvement in numerous protocols, clinical trials, presentations at conferences, and scientific research with published papers.
